On October 22, 2019 members from the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) attended a residence on Short Street for a report of break and enter.
Between 5:00 am and 11:30 am suspect(s) entered the home through the back door of the residence. The door had been damaged and forced open. The home had been rummaged through and the following items had been stolen.
· $1000 in Vietnamese currency (paper bills)
· Canadian Mint coins from 1998 in a burgundy leather case
· Canadian Mint coins from 1995 in a grey leather case
· Ladies “GUESS” wrist watch, silver in colour
· Four men’s wrist watches, one in particular being a “skeletal” model with the inner mechanical workings visible, and the band has a brown snake skin design
· 40oz unopened bottle of crown royal
· Canon camera with several detachable lenses
· Marcum underwater camera system
