Cobourg Police – Greenbacks Pawn Shop and Police Help Out After Bike Stolen

On Tuesday September 17, 2019, Police took a complaint of a theft of bicycle that occurred the previous week. The complainant advised Police they believed their bicycle was currently at Greenbacks Pawn Shop.

Police attended Greenbacks Pawn Shop and through investigation were able to determine that the bicycle was not the complainants stolen bicycle.

The complainant advised the bicycle was their only means of transportation and that they had just purchased the bicycle only a month earlier, after saving up their money.

The Cobourg Police Service are proud to have partnered with Greenbacks Pawn Shop to assist Julian Abbaticchio in purchasing this bicycle.
