Woman Trapped In Car Following Collision East of Grafton

One woman was trapped for approximately 30-minutes after a single vehicle rollover on Shelter Valley Road north of County Road 2, east of Grafton on Tuesday, September 3, 2019.

A vehicle was travelling north on Shelter Valley Road approximately two kilometres north of County Road 2 when it left the roadway and rolled over and the roof struck a tree at approximately 5 p.m.
Emergency services including Alnwick/Haldimand Township Fire Department, Northumberland County Paramedics and Northumberland OPP responded to the collision.
Firefighters broke the back window of the vehicle which allowed the woman to crawl out the back window.

Paramedics took her to hospital, but miraculously she didn’t sustain any serious injuries.
