Breaking News – Cobourg Couple Shocked After A Nazi Flag Was Placed On Their Property

In Editor Choice, Local

The first time a couple knew there was a swastika flag being flown on their lawn was when a Cobourg Police officer knocked on their door and broke the news to them on Friday evening, August 30, 2019.

The flag was posted using zip-ties which were placed over a Canadian flag.

The couple who live in Cobourg’s west end told Today’s Northumberland they were shocked and disappointed anyone would do this.

Police cut the Nazi flag off and took it as evidence.

Cobourg Police are investigating and ask if anyone has any information to call police or CrimeStoppers.

Today’s Northumberland will update the story shortly.
