Quinte West OPP – Reported Weapon Confirmed To Be A Toy

On Wednesday June 12, 2019 at approximately 5:00 p.m. officers from the Quinte West Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a youth in possession of a handgun at a local school after school hours in the City of Quinte West.

Officers located the youth and determined that the reported handgun was actually a water toy gun.

The investigation concluded and no charges resulted.
