CN Rail Apologizes Again to Cramahe Residents

In Editor Choice, Local

CN Rail has reached out to Cramahe Township Mayor Mandy Martin after another freight train had issues in Colborne on May 4, 2019.

“We’ve spoken to the mayor and apologized for the situation,” said Media Relations Director Jonathan Abecassis on Sunday, May 5, 2019.
“We will be meeting with the town to discuss the issue and we will be looking into it on our end to see what can be done to stop this from happening so frequently.”
On Saturday standing alongside the railway crossing on Colton Road, Martin said she wanted answers from CN Rail and worries about what could possibly happen from spills to potentially derailments.
