The Property Manager of Cobourg Non-Profit Housing Corporation said he’s extremely happy with the arrest of three suspects by OPP in Cobourg on May 2, 2019.

Three people are facing drug related charges after police executed a warrant on Alexandria Drive in the Town of Cobourg on May 2, 2019.
Northumberland OPP, Northumberland OPP Community Street Crime Unit and Emergency Response Team members conducted the warrant at an Alexandria Street residence on Thursday morning at approximately 7 a.m.

“I’m very happy that they actually got something done today and got a bust,” said Patrick Andrews who is the Property Manager of Cobourg Non-Profit Housing Corporation.
“The tenants are very happy because nobody likes the (drug) dealing in the neighbourhood.”

Illegal drug activity in the complex is something that is common.
“We have probably 100 small children and they are doing deals right in front of the children.”

Andrews urges if anyone sees illegal activity taking place to call police.
“The more they know, the more they can do.”

Seized in the warrant were Fentanyl, crack cocaine, Canadian currency and a prohibited knife.
Two men and a woman are facing possession for the purpose of trafficking charges.
