Cobourg Police – Man Charged for Impaired Driving E-bike

On Friday April 26th 2019 at approximately 3:54 pm Cobourg Police responded to a call for a possible impaired driver in the area of Burnham St. Cobourg.

Cobourg Police attended and spoke with a man who was found to be in care and control of an e-bike. The man exhibited a number of signs of intoxication and was issued a Roadside Screening Device demand which he subsequently failed. The man was placed under arrest and subsequently provided two samples of his breath both of which were over 80 mg.’s of alcohol per 100 ml of blood. As a result, 21 year old Dylan Campbell of Cobourg is charged with Impaired Operation-Blood Alcohol Concentration 80 plus Contrary to C.C.C section 320.14(1)(b) .

Dylan Campbell was released on a Promise to Appear with a May 15th 2019 court date.
