Guests said it was the party of the year at the Kibbles & Glitz party at the Hotel Carlyle And Restaurant in Port Hope on Saturday, April 6, 2019.

Meeting on Tuesday at the Hotel Carlyle And Restaurant for a photo-op, Bella the Mastiff seemed to steal the spotlight either smiling for the photo or yawning.

In the background are organizers Kate Lennan General Manager of Northumberland Humane Society, Elise Herman from Hotel Carlyle and Ken Bell from Kenneth Bell Fashion Accessories.

Last year the inaugural event raised $5,000.  This year the event raised $8,874.15 for the Northumberland Humane Society.

Matthew and Melissa St. Amand of Lakeridge Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ltd in Port Hope graciously donated $2,500 to The Northumberland Humane Society at the event. The donation was made in the memory of Matthew’s father, Steve St. Amand, who passed away 11 years ago and would have turned 70-years-old this week.
