Northumberland OPP – Trent Hills Man Arrested for Impaired

On March 3, 2019 just before 2:30 pm officers from the Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to motor vehicle collision on Doxsee Avenue South in the town of Campbellford.

Police were advised that a male driving a black Dodge sedan drove into the side of a building causing interior and exterior damage to the establishment. The involved vehicle then left the location. Witnesses provided officers with detailed descriptors of the suspect vehicle and driver. The vehicle was located a few minutes later at the registered owner’s residence.

As a result of the investigation Daniel DIMBERLINE (age 31) of Trent Hills, Ontario was arrested and charged with:

· Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
· Operation while impaired – blood alcohol concentration (80 plus)

He was released and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg on April 3, 2019.
