Northumberland Nighthawks Victorious In Game Two Against Markham Waxers In OMHA Minor Midget AA Semi Finals

The Northumberland Nighthawks won their second game against the Markham Waxers at the Cobourg Community Centre on Sunday, March 3, 2019 in the OMHA Minor Midget AA Semi Finals.
The Nighthawks also won on Saturday in overtime with a score of 4-3.
It gives the Nighthawks a four point lead in the series with the first team to get six points taking the semi-finals.
On Sunday, Nighthawks scored at 7:15 of the first period with Caleb Shore getting the goalt with assists by Michael Patrick and Oz Paziuk.
Logan Kelly notched the second goal unassisted for the Nighthawks at 3:29 of the first period.
During the second, Nighthawks Joshua Goold scored at 3:29 with an assist by Tanner Smith.
The last goal for the Nighthawks was at 3:15 of the second with the goal scored by Joseph Mininni with an assist by Aodhan Jones.
The final score of the game was 4-2. The Nighthawks could take the series with their next game in Markham on March 9 at the Centennial Arena at 7 p.m.
