Cobourg Police – Woman Arrested on Warrant leads to Drug Charges

On Thursday February 21, 2019 at approximately 1:36am Cobourg Police conducted a Traffic Stop on Elgin Street East. Subsequent to a Police investigation, 21 year old Meghan FALLOWFIELD was arrested on an outstanding Warrant.

Subsequent to the arrest, a quantity of Controlled Drugs was located.

Meghan FALLOWFIELD is charged with the following Criminal Code Offences:

1. Controlled Drugs and Substance Act, section 4(1), Possession of a Schedule I Substance- Cocaine
2. Controlled Drugs and Substance Act, section 5(2), Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
3. Controlled Drugs and Substance Act, section 5(1), Trafficking in Schedule I substance – Heroin
4. Criminal Code, section 145(3), Fail to Comply with Recognizance
5. Criminal Code, section 145(3), Fail to Comply with Recognizance

Meghan FALLOWFIELD was held in custody for a court appearance on February 21, 2019
