A student from Beatrice Strong Public School received support from teaching staff and students on Valentine’s Day.
“Love for Lucy” Candy Gram Campaign was started in honour of Lucy Prince who is battling kidney cancer since November.
“We here at Beatrice Strong want to send some strength and love to her and her family.”
The Candy Grams were on sale from February 4 to February 13 and could be sent to friends, siblings or staff members at the school.
The 240 students, staff and parent volunteers at the school raised a staggering $1,600 that will go towards the Prince family.
