Northumberland OPP – Drugs and Cash Seized from Cobourg Residence

On Wednesday morning February 13, 2019 members of the Peterborough/ Northumberland Detachments of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Community Street Crime Units (CSCU) in conjunction with Cobourg City Police, executed a Controlled Drug and Substance Act warrant at a residence in the town of Cobourg.

Investigators seized digital scales, thirty four (34) grams of cocaine, and a quantity of Canadian currency. The street value of the seized cocaine is worth approximately $3,500.

Tre Michael OTTLEY (age 20) from Cobourg was arrested and charged with:

· Possession of a Schedule I Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
· Possession of Property Obtained by Crime Under $5,000

The accused was held in custody for a bail hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg on February 13, 2019.
