Northumberland OPP Toy Drive A Huge Success

In Community, Local

The Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) hosted a toy drive from November 19, 2018 to December 14, 2018.

The outcome was a huge success!! There were many generous cash, gift card and toy donations dropped off at all three detachment sites located in Cobourg, Brighton and Campbellford. The OPP Auxiliary units hosted a “Stuff the Cruiser” event at the Giant Tiger in Campbellford on November 25, 2018 that contributed to the success.

The Northumberland OPP wish to thank all those who participated to help support local families. The donations were distributed to the Alderville Women’s Shelter, Northumberland Salvation Army, Victim Services and Toronto Sick Kids Hospital.

By working together we assisted with providing families in need the ability to make this a joyous holiday season for all children.
