Video – Photo Gallery – Trenton’s Delayed Canada Day Fireworks Light Up the Night

In Local, Photo Gallery

They were delayed by a day because of the weather, but the wait was well worth it as the City of Trenton finally celebrated Canada Day with a dazzling fireworks display on Thursday, July 2, 2026.

Beginning at approximately 9:45 p.m., the night sky over Centennial Park erupted in brilliant colours as families and friends gathered to enjoy the annual tradition. Spectators lined the park and surrounding areas, watching as the fireworks reflected across the water and capped off the community’s Canada Day celebrations in spectacular fashion.

Although Mother Nature forced organizers to postpone the show from July 1, the clear skies on July 2 provided the perfect backdrop for an evening that brought the community together to celebrate Canada’s 159th birthday.
