Suspicious Fire In Hamilton Township

Hamilton Township fire crews responded to a suspicious fire on Saturday, November 3, 2018.
The location of the fire was at 2271 Division Street North and flames could be seen from County road 45 of the fully engulfed garage.
Fire Chief Kelly Serson said crews were dispatched at 11:04 p.m. after a Hamilton Township firefighter spotted the flames.
“It was fully involved when we arrived.”
A home was nearby, but it’s believed no one was living in the house at the time.
“All indications are leading that this is a suspicious fire.”
Northumberland OPP secured the scene and the Ontario Fire Marshal’s office has been notified.
