Northumberland OPP – Seeking Public’s Assistance in Investigation

The Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is investigating a break and enter and is asking for the public’s assistance.

On January 12, 2026, at approximately 1:00 am, police received a report of a break and enter that occurred in the Municipality of Port Hope. The accused fled with a large sum of cash, a Louis Vuitton purse, a designer watch, and two vintage Canadian $100 bills.

Police are seeking any information that may assist with this investigation. Images of the stolen items are bein g released. If you recognize these items and have any information about their whereabouts, or if you, or anyone you know, has information regarding this incident, please contact the Northumberland OPP at 1-888-310-1122, referencing occurrence E260049994.
