Cobourg Police – Incidents Include Warrant Arrest, Mischief, Impaired (No Names Released)

A 31-year-old Cobourg woman is facing charges after being arrested on a warrant on Friday morning.

On October 24, 2025, at approximately 8:40 p.m., police on general patrol in the area of Charles Street and Division Street observed an individual wanted on multiple warrants with the Cobourg Police Service.

As a result of the police investigation, the 31-year-old Cobourg woman was arrested. Upon arrest, police located a prohibited knife. The accused was further charged with Possession of a Prohibited Weapon, carrying a Concealed Weapon, failure to comply with Probation, and two counts of Breach of Release Order. The accused was held for bail.

The Cobourg Police Service notes that, since October 2024, the individual has been arrested eight times and charged with 24 criminal offences, including five charges of drug trafficking. In total, police have had 36 interactions with the accused in the last year.


A 31-year-old Cobourg man is facing charges after police responded to mischief on Friday.

On October 24, 2025, police responded to an incident involving an individual on King Street East after an individual picked up an object and threw it through the front window of a building.

Police placed the individual under arrest. During the arrest, the accused spat in the face of a responding officer. As a result, the 31-year-old Cobourg man was charged with Mischief Under $5,000 and Assault Peace Officer. The accused was held for bail.


A 24-year-old Cobourg man has been charged after police received a report of suspected impaired driving early Sunday morning.

On October 26, 2025, at approximately 12:40 a.m., police responded to a report of a suspected impaired driver in the area of King Street East and D’Arcy Street.

Officers located a vehicle matching the description and initiated a traffic stop. The driver was read a roadside screening demand, which was refused. As a result, the 24-year-old Cobourg man was arrested for refusal to comply with and later released on an undertaking with a future court date.

The Cobourg Police Service encourages the public to report suspected impaired driving by calling 911. By reporting suspected impaired drivers to the police, everyone can play a role in keeping roads and waterways safe. Always plan for a safe ride home, designate a sober driver, or call a friend, a relative, or a cab.
