Durham Region Police – Break and Enter at Scugog Jewelry Store

Police are looking for suspects after a significant amount of jewelry was stolen from a business in Scugog.

On Thursday, October 9, 2025, at approximately 12:35 a.m., members of North Division responded to a break-and-enter call at Goldbug International located at 1874 Scugog Street. Officers entered the business and observed evidence of a break-and-enter. Further investigation determined that a significant quantity of jewelry with a high value had been stolen.

Anyone with cellphone, dash cam, surveillance footage or information about this incident is asked to contact the North Division Criminal Investigations Branch at 1-888-579-1520 ext. 1505.

Anonymous information can be sent to Durham Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477) or online at www.durhamregionalcrimestoppers.ca and tipsters may be eligible for a $2,000 cash reward.
