Video – Police Issue Press Release Five Days After A Pickup was Stolen from Cobourg Driveway

Five days after a pickup truck was stolen from a driveway in Cobourg, police have issued a press release.
Cobourg Police are currently investigating the theft of a vehicle that occurred early in the morning on August 22, 2025, in the Town of Cobourg.

Images of the pickup were posted on social media shortly after the incident, but police issued a released five days after the theft took place.

On August 22, 2025, at approximately 1:40 a.m., a navy blue 2023 Toyota Tundra was stolen from the driveway of a residence on Ewing Street in Cobourg. Two suspects dressed in dark clothing attended the residence. One smashed a window of the truck to gain entry while the other stood by. Police are seeking any additional security camera footage or information to assist the investigation.

The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information, dashcam footage, or security camera footage of the area is asked to call the police at 905-372-6821 or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers by calling 1-800-222-TIPS or visiting stopcrimehere.ca. Tips received through Crime Stoppers may be eligible for a cash reward.
