Ontario Community Emergency Assistance Program Training Operation Underway in Cobourg
Conservation Area

The Ontario Community Emergency Assistance Program (OCEAP) is currently conducting a training operation in the Cobourg Conservation Area (south of Elgin Street West) in the Town of Cobourg.

This exercise is anticipated to conclude at about midnight tonight.

During this time, the public may notice an increased presence of OCEAP members in the area utilizing
flashlights, radios, and other equipment as part of their training activities. There is no risk to public safety.

OCEAP conducts exercises regularly to ensure our volunteers are prepared for a variety of situations within the community.
