Belleville Police – Incidents Include, Break and Enter, Warrants, Assault (Names Released)

Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 120 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on May 13, 2025 to 5:00 am on May 14, 2025.

Break and enter
On 13 May, 2025, at 4:25am, police received a call from a property owner on Cloverleaf Drive who observed a male breaking into a shed and removing property. Police attended, and located the male. Josh Lemche, 34, of Belleville, was arrested and charged for break and enter and breach of probation. He was held in custody for a bail hearing.

Warrants
On 13 May, 2025, at 7:00am, police located a male on patrol in the downtown core whom they knew to be wanted on several warrants. Theodore Woods, 36, of Belleville was arrested on his warrants for theft, failing to comply, and failing to attend court. He was held in custody for a bail hearing.

Assault
On 13 May, 2025, at 9:00am, police were approached on Bridge Street West by a male who advised he was assaulted. The male, who had minor injuries, advised he was assaulted by his partner. Police located the female in her vehicle, and she was arrested for assault. A 34-year-old Belleville female was charged with assault. She was later released with a court date in June
