The City is seeking community input on the affordable housing project and parkland preferences at the former Queen Mary site (41 Octavia St.), also known as the West Hill Green Space.
Staff will be hosting a Public Information Centre (PIC) on Feb. 4 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. The envisioned development would include affordable housing units while maximizing the amount of useable parkland.
This is an opportunity for the public to get involved and provide feedback about the project, which would inform the future design of the site.
WHAT: Former Queen Mary Affordable Housing Project PIC
WHEN: Tuesday, Feb. 4 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
WHERE: Prince Charles Public School (75 Ritchie Ave.)
Feedback received will be presented to Council with recommendations on next steps. Input can be submitted through an online form. For more information, email planning@belleville.ca, or visit Belleville.ca/QMProject. Materials from the meeting can be made available upon request.
Those who require accessibility supports to fully participate are asked to contact communications@belleville.ca so that appropriate arrangements can be made.
