Belleville Holiday Service Changes

In City Hall, Local, Upcoming Events

Please note the following changes to City services over the holidays:

· City Hall – Open from 8:30 a.m. to noon on Dec. 24 and 31. Closed on Dec. 25, 26 and Jan. 1.

· Quinte Sports & Wellness Centre – Customer service desk closed at 11:15 a.m. on Dec. 24, all day Dec. 25 and 26, at 11:15 a.m. on Dec. 31 and all day Jan. 1. Special schedule until Jan. 5. For more details, visit: QSWC.ca.

· Transit – Service ends at 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 24. No service on Dec. 25, 26 or Jan 1.

· Garbage, Green Bin, Recycling and Bulky Item Collection – Residents whose regular curbside collection date is Wednesday will have their garbage, green bin and recycling collected on Saturday, Dec. 28 (instead of Dec. 25) and Saturday, Jan. 4 (instead of Jan. 1). There will be no changes to bulky items collection.

· Hazardous and Electronic Waste Depot – Closed Dec. 25 to Jan. 1 inclusive.

· Leaf & Yard Waste Depot – Closed for the season.

· Thurlow Landfill – No change to regular public hours. Closed Dec. 26 for industrial use.

· Glanmore National Historic Site – Closed Dec. 23 to 26. Open Dec. 27 from noon to 4 p.m. Closed Dec. 28 to Jan. 1.

· Belleville Public Library – Closed on Dec. 24, 25, 26 and Jan. 1. Closes early on Dec. 31 at 4 p.m.

· Community Archives – Closed Dec. 23 to Jan. 1 inclusive.
Curbside Christmas tree collection will run from Jan. 2 through Jan. 8. The collection schedule can be found at Belleville.ca/YardWaste.
