Northumberland OPP – Brighton Woman Charged with Assault and Mischief (Name Released)

The Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have arrested an individual following a report of a disturbance in Brighton.

On October 29, 2024, at approximately 8:50 p.m., police responded to a report of a dispute at a residence on Elizabeth Street. Officers arrived at the location where a window was smashed and a resident had been assaulted. No injuries were reported, and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) were not required.

The accused had left the area and later returned where they were met by officers.

Jennifer KOEBEL, 29-years-old, from Brighton, has been charged with:

–       Assault

–       Mischief under $5,000.

The accused is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg at a future date.
