Video – Rail Crossing in Grafton Blocked for Several Hours

A rail crossing in Grafton was closed for several hours after a train uncoupled on Sunday, October 6, 2024.

At approximately 6 p.m. a eastbound CP Rail freight train uncoupled at crossing on Station Road, just south of Grafton.

Part of the train carried on, but part of the train blocked the CP Rail line until approximately 9 p.m.

There is no word on the cause of the uncoupling of the train, but there was no derailment.
