Video – Dangerous Stunt Caught on Video in Cobourg

A dangerous stunt caught on video could have ended with serious injury or criminal charges in Cobourg on Tuesday, August 6, 2024.

Shortly after 5 p.m. on Tuesday, four people walking up from Victoria Beach got in a Hummer that was parked by the Centennial Pool and Victoria Park

But three of the individuals decided to go for a ride on the outside of the vehicle holding onto it as the driver sped away.

The vehicle stopped momentarily on Charles Street before the driver stepped on the gas and sped away.

All three individuals were laughing as then headed west on Charles Street.

If any of the individuals fell from the vehicle they could have ended up with serious injuries.

The driver allowing it could also be charged criminally.
