Experience Cobourg Announces Summer 2024 ‘Movies in the Park’ Lineup

Enjoy free, outdoor movies at Victoria Park and Beach

Experience Cobourg is pleased to announce the lineup of films planned for this summer’s ‘Movies in the Park.’

‘Movies in the Park’ gives families and friends the chance to enjoy a relaxing summer evening, free of charge, in Cobourg’s beautiful Victoria Park and Beach. Bring your blanket or lawn chair and prepare to enjoy an exciting evening under the stars. Films are projected onto a giant inflatable outdoor movie screen that uses a powerful video projector and concert quality sound system.

All movies begin at 8:30 p.m. If you are in the mood for dinner and a movie, stop by one of the waterfront food trucks, Toller Pizza, Leguan, and Murney’s Beachside Bites. Popcorn and snacks will also be available for sale.

This year’s movie schedule and lineup includes:

    Date: Saturday, July 13, 2024
    Movie: Mamma Mia!
    Location: Victoria Park
    Toller Pizza will be selling “The Waterloo” and “The Mamma Mia”
  • Theme: Family Night
    Date: Saturday, August 3, 2024
    Movie: IF
    Location: Victoria Park
  • Theme: Date Night
    Date: Saturday, August 24, 2024
    Movie: Fall Guy
    Location: Victoria Park
    Toller Pizza will be selling “The Colt Seavers” and “The Jody Moreno”

A note to movie goers that waterfront parking is free after 8 p.m., and downtown parking is free after 6 p.m. Washrooms will be open for the duration of the films.

‘Movies in the Park’ events are subject to weather cancellations which could include lightning and any other unsafe weather conditions. Notice of cancellation will be posted on Experience Cobourg’s Facebook page and the Town of Cobourg’s municipal website (Cobourg.ca).
