The Municipality of Port Hope is preparing for its annual Canada Day celebrations, featuring a mix of new and traditional events throughout the community.
As always, our Canada Day lineup is jam-packed with a variety of activities and events for everyone to enjoy.
This year’s parade route will look different due to the Walton Street Reconstruction. The parade kicks off at the corner of Bramley and Ridout at 11:00 a.m. The Parade will travel down Walton Street turning onto Pine Street South and then continue east on Augusta Street to finish at Town Hall. There are lots of viewing locations along the route so bring your friends and family, spread out and enjoy the festivities. There is also space to Register and join the parade line-up.
Sunday, June 30
Dusk: The Canada Day edition of ‘Movies in the Park’ will feature the original Lego Movie. Bring your blankets and lawn chairs and join us under the stars at Memorial Park for this family friendly experience. Free Admission.
