Video – Port Hope Fire and Emergency Services and Cameco Hold Joint Training Exercise

Port Hope Fire and Emergency Services held a joint exercise with Cameco on Tuesday, June 4, 2024.

The joint service exercise was a simulated ammonia release with Cameco emergency services responding with their fire apparatus along with Port Hope Fire and Emergency Services. The exercise demonstrated effective vapour suppression Techniques along with communication and joint command.

Port Hope Fire and Emergency Services was also conducting water rescue training using a Rapid Deployment Craft.
