Northumberland OPP – Trent Hills Man Charged with Obstruct, Fail To Remain, Fail To Report Accident (Name Released)

One person has been charged after police located an abandoned passenger vehicle in a ditch on County Road 38 in Peterborough County.

On March 11, 2024, at approximately 8:30 a.m., Peterborough Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) contacted Northumberland OPP to check on the wellbeing of the vehicle owner at a residence on County Road 8 in the Municipality of Trent Hills.

No injuries were reported as a result of the collision.

Dylan ANDERSON, 30-years-old, from the Municipality of Trent Hills, was charged with:

·        Obstruct peace officer

·        Fail to remain

·        Fail to report accident.

The accused is due to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg at a future date.
