Cobourg Municipal Law Enforcement Responds to Unlicensed Event

In Local

Municipal Law Enforcement responded to a call concerning unlicensed vendors at the Columbus Community Centre.  It was determined that the vendor(s) did not have the required licence to conduct the activity.  The event involving the sale of merchandise was terminated by a representative of the property owner/organization hosting the event on Saturday, March 2, 2024.

Community groups, organizations and vendors with goods, wares or merchandise for sale within Cobourg are required to receive an appropriate itinerant vendor’s licence from the Town of Cobourg.

If you are uncertain of the licences or permits required to operate your business, we advise you speak with our Licensing staff who can provide further guidance and information.
