Belleville Police – Female Charged Four Counts of Mischief Setting Garbage Bins on Fire (No Name Released)

On the 12th of February at 7:30pm, Belleville Police responded to a report of a person setting numerous garbage bins fires along Front St.

Belleville Fire was dispatched to extinguish the fires.

Police began an investigation into identifying the person responsible for setting the fires.

Police utilized the downtown camera network and were able to identify the suspect.

At 8:00pm, police located and arrested the suspect.

As a result of the investigation, a 50-year-old female of no fixed address was charged with four counts of mischief and breaching her probation.

She was held for a bail hearing.

Other than the garbage bins, there was no other reported property damage.
