Breaking News – Video – Former Brookside Youth Centre Property in Cobourg Officially On the Market for Sale

The former Brookside Youth Centre property is officially on the market for sale.

The listing went up on the Infrastructure Ontario site on Thursday, February 8, 2024.

It states the property located at 390 King Street East in Cobourg is selling for $9,100,000.00 and has 30 acres of land.

The property has Brook Creek which flows through the east portion of the site from north to south, crossing the security fence at the north and south locations. The site is surround by residential land uses to the north and a mix of residential and commercial uses to the south, east and west. The property has 17 buildings.

Today’s Northumberland caught up with Cobourg Mayor Lucas Cleveland and MPP David Piccini and asked about the sale of the property along with the declaration of state of emergency in Belleville.
