Northumberland OPP – Brighton Man Charged with Unlawfully in Dwelling (Name Released)

The Northumberland Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged an individual in connection with a suspicious person investigation in the Municipality of Brighton.

On August 15, 2026, police received a report that an unknown male had entered a residence on Prince Edward Street in Brighton.

Following assistance from members of the public, the individual was identified. As a result of the investigation, officers arrested the person on August 25, 2026.

Glenn KENNEDY (61) of Brighton has been charged with:

– Unlawfully in a dwelling

The accuse d is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Cobourg in November 2026.
