Emergency services responded to a single vehicle collision in the westbound lanes of Highway 401 at Ontario Street in Cobourg on Monday, August 24, 2026.
At approximately 6 p.m. Cobourg and Hamilton Township Fire Departments along with Northumberland OPP and Northumberland Paramedics responded to a collision in the eastbound lanes of Highway 401 at Cobourg.
Although there was no collision in the eastbound lanes, there was a single vehicle collision in the westbound lanes.
There were no serious injuries.
