Before the First Footprints: Victoria Beach Gets Ready for the Day

In Local

Long before beachgoers arrive to spread out their towels or children race toward the water, Victoria Beach in Cobourg is already buzzing with activity.

While most visitors never see it, the beach is groomed every morning, leaving behind smooth, clean sand before the day’s crowds arrive.

Maintaining one of Cobourg’s most popular attractions has long been a priority for the Town of Cobourg’s Parks Department, whose crews work behind the scenes each day to ensure Victoria Beach is clean, safe and welcoming for residents and visitors alike.
