In Business

The Cobourg Canadian Tire is celebrating its grand re-opening with storewide sales and a refreshed new look following extensive renovations.

From May 7 to May 14, 2026, customers can take advantage of numerous sales throughout the store, said general manager Matt Espey.

“We have a brand new modern store, freshly renovated,” said Espey. “The staff put so much work and dedication into the project. It’s nice to have a chance to celebrate with the community.”

Renovations included upgrades to both the interior and exterior of the store, including fresh paint and modernization efforts.

“Freshening things up and giving us a nice, new look,” added Espey.

With the Garden Centre now open for the season, shoppers will find sales both inside and outside the store as spring gets underway.

Canadian Tire has also partnered with the Hudson’s Bay Company, bringing a selection of Hudson’s Bay products into stores.

Espey said he’s proud to work for a company with more than a century of history.

“There is lots going on. This is the perfect one stop shop to load up for Spring, get you ready for the season and get the lowest prices of the year.”
