Port Hope Police Cobourg Police – Drug Trafficking Investigation Leads to Charges (Names Released)

On April 30, 2026, as part of an ongoing drug trafficking investigation, members of the Cobourg Police Service and Port Hope Police Service executed a search warrant at a residence in Port Hope.

Police seized:
• 62 grams of fentanyl
• 31 grams of cocaine
• 8 grams of methamphetamine
• Clonazepam pills
• Drug trafficking paraphernalia (scales and packaging materials)

The total estimated street value of the drugs is approximately $13,000.

As a result of the investigation, Terri Lawrence (56) and Rober Lawrence (61) were arrested and charged with multiple offences, including possession for the purpose of trafficking and possession of proceeds of crime. Both were held for a bail hearing.
