Accessible Front Entrance Now Open at Cobourg Police Station

In Police Blotter

The accessibility improvements, including the newly constructed front door ramp, are complete, and the main entrance has reopened to community members. These upgrades are part of a broader commitment by the Cobourg Police Service and the Town of Cobourg to ensure the station is accessible, inclusive, and welcoming for everyone.

After only a number of hours since the construction fence was removed vandals tagged the front entrance of the accessible entrance.  It’s unknown if police have video or are investigating.

The Cobourg Police Service thanks community members for their patience and cooperation during the construction period while these important accessibility improvements were completed.

The for the new entrance was approximately $500,000.
