Video – Scooter Rider Suffers Head Injury in Fall in Cobourg

A man suffered a head injury after falling from a scooter in Cobourg on Tuesday, April 21, 2026.

Emergency services were dispatched to College Street, just south of King Street East, at approximately 1:15 p.m.

Two men were riding scooters when one of them lost control and fell, striking his head on the pavement. Despite the impact, the injuries were not considered serious.

One of the riders told Today’s Northumberland that the scooters are capable of reaching speeds of more than 70 km/h and have a range of approximately 88 kilometres.

Neither rider was wearing a helmet at the time of the incident.
