Video – Fire Quickly Contained at Cobourg Home, No Injuries Reported

There were no injuries after Cobourg Fire Department responded to a fire in a room of a home on Monday, April 20, 2026.

When firefighters arrived at the location of the fire at 180 King Street West the fire had been knocked down. Firefighters ventilated the two-storey home and none of the occupants required medical attention.

Cobourg Police shut down King Street, re-routing traffic in the area of the incident.
