Northumberland OPP – ATV Collisions Cramahe Township

On Saturday, April 4th, 2026, at approximately 3:15 a.m., the Northumberland OPP received word from EMS of an ATV accident. The operator of ATV was flown to a Kingston Hospital with life threatening injuries. Through investigation a truck was also seized. Huycke Rd in Cramahe Twp was closed for a period of time while police continued their investigation.

Police are still actively investigating to determine the cause of the ATV accident and ask that anyone with information to contact the Northumberland OPP via the non-emergency line 1-888-310-1122. More information will be released when it becomes available. 

 

Minor Injuries After Falling from ATV

Emergency services were dispatched to a Durham Street address in Colborne on Saturday, April 4, 2026 after an individual fell off the back of an ATV.

The incident happened at low speeds, but the passenger was not wearing a helment.

Minor injuries were sustained.

Emergency services were sent as a precaution.
