Peterborough Police Investigate Sunday Shooting

There will be increased police presence in the area of Parkhill Road and George Street North after a shooting Sunday afternoon.

One person was taken to Peterborough Regional Health Centre before being airlifted to a Toronto hospital.

It happened around 4:00pm on March 8, 2026, inside a residence and is believed to be an isolated incident.  The investigation is ongoing.
