Campbellford Memorial Hospital Purchases Specialized Food Transport Carts to Enhance Patient Care

In Community, Local

The Auxiliary to Campbellford Memorial Hospital, is proud to announce the purchase of two new Burlodge heating and cooling food transport carts, further supporting patient comfort, care, and recovery.

The newly acquired Burlodge carts are designed to maintain both hot and cold food items at safe and appropriate temperatures during transportation from the kitchen to the patient rooms. This investment ensures that meals are delivered consistently at the correct temperature, enhancing patient satisfaction.

Good nutrition plays a vital role in the healing process. When meals are served hot, they are more appetizing and enjoyable, helping to encourage patients to eat well and maintain their strength during recovery. With the addition of these state-of-the-art carts, patients at Campbellford Memorial Hospital can expect their meals to arrive just as intended—hot foods hot, and cold foods cold.

“The Auxiliary is committed to supporting initiatives that directly impact patient care and comfort,” said a representative of the Auxiliary. “We understand that nutrition is a key component of healing, and something as simple as serving meals at the proper temperature can make a meaningful difference in a patient’s hospital experience.

The purchase of the Burlodge food transport carts reflects the Auxiliary’s commitment to supporting practical solutions that improve day-to-day patient care.
