Belleville Police – Incidents Include Drug Trafficking Arrests, Breach of Release/Probation

Total calls for service – Belleville Police responded to 95 calls for service over a 24-hour period beginning at 5:00 am on March 2, 2026 to 5:00 am on March 3, 2026.

Drug Trafficking Arrests

On March 2nd 2026, officers with the Belleville Police Service Drug & Intelligence Unit, Emergency Response Unit and K9 Unit conducted a traffic stop in Belleville’s east end, followed by a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act search warrant in Kingston’s west end.
Police seized a quantity of fentanyl, crystal methamphetamine and Canadian currency.

As a result of police investigation, the following persons were arrested and charged:
Bobby Grant, 31-year-old Kingston man, was charged with the following offences and held for a bail hearing:
· Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl – Sec 5(2) CDSA
· Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking –Methamphetamine– Sec 5(2) CDSA
· Possession of Proceeds under $5000 – Sec 354(1)(a) CC

Patrick Grant 63-year-old Kingston man, was charged with the following offences and held for a bail hearing:
· Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking – Fentanyl – Sec 5(2) CDSA
· Possession for the Purpose of Trafficking –Methamphetamine– Sec 5(2) CDSA
· Possession of Proceeds under $5000 – Sec 354(1)(a) CC

Additionally, Patrick Grant was wanted on two outstanding warrants from Peel Region and Kingston.

Breach of Release Order, Breach of Probation
On March 3rd at 12:55am, Belleville Police responded to a residence in the city’s east end regarding a report of suspicious activity. A female reported observing two individuals outside her residence knocking on the door while she was nearby. She was unsure if they had gained entry to the home. The two individuals were known to have conditions preventing them from communicating or being at the same location.
Upon arrival, officers observed a broken window with a removed screen. With the assistance of the Belleville Police K9 Unit, officers were able to locate the two individuals in the basement of the residence.
As a result of police investigation, the following persons were arrested and charged:
A 36-year-old Belleville woman of no fixed address was arrested and charged with the following offences and held for a bail hearing:
· Fail to comply with a release order X3
· Fail to comply with a probation order X2

A 43-year-old Belleville man of no fixed address was arrested and charged with the following offences and held for a bail hearing:
· Fail to comply with a release order X4
· Fail to comply with a probation order X4
· Outstanding warrant executed
