It was a beautiful evening for Port Hope’s annual Candlelight Festival on Friday, November 28, 2025.

Adding to the celebration of this years festival was the end to three years of construction along Walton Street, it was the perfect evening for the celebration with the snow falling during the evening.

The evening started at 4pm and featured the Candlelight Walk, Memorial Park lighting ceremony at 6 p.m.

Also included was the outdoor artisan market, late-night shopping, and cozy firepits while introducing exciting new elements like an outdoor licensed area, animated projections, new photo stops and live busking performances.
