Video – Power Turned Off As Tree Taken Down in Cobourg

In Local

A large tree was removed from College Street in Cobourg on Tuesday, November 25, 2025.

The tree was on the east side of College at the corner of Chapel Street.

Along with the road closure of College Street from Chapel to James Street there was a power outage in the area.

Due to a safety concern, power was turned off for safety reasons while the tree/truck was lifted up and over the hydro wires before being place on a truck.
