Video – Photo Gallery – Dancing in the Streets at the Kickoff to Christmas Magic in Cobourg

In Editor Choice, Local, Photo Gallery

They were dancing in the streets at the start of Christmas Magic in Cobourg on Friday, November 21, 2025.

Hundreds of people enjoyed the Trinity United Church Handbell Choir in front of Victoria Hall, then at 6 p.m. as Town Crier Mandy Robinson welcomed everyone to the annual event and then it was Cobourg Mayor Lucas Cleveland counting down before the lights were turned on at Victoria Hall.

Immediately following, Cobourg Police lead the attendees to Rotary Harbourfront Park for the lighting of the park and to enjoy the Holiday Market.

The weather was perfect for the event as people could just kick back and relax at the Enbridge Gas Lounge or dance in the street to the sounds of Vinyl Groovz.

There were carriage rides as well for the event.
